Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. If we are people who call ourselves christians we would surely live a life according to the word of God. And the word of God says forgive one another. Many a times it is difficult for us to be like Jesus and follow what God has asked us to do.

We often see ourselves being hurt being troubled being angry thinking about the damage or hurt that people have caused in our life. The word of God in Mathew 6:12 says and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. By holding on to unforgiveness we block God from forgiving us. We limit and condition Gods forgiveness over our life.
Holding on to Offense is like stopping God from blessing us. We can see in the following scriptures, the word of God teaches us how exactly we have to treat those who have hurt us.
Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
“Here Paul says clothe yourself, which means its surely an action that you are expected to do, it surely requires your effort ,which may not be easy but as we rely on God,He will make a way He will strengthen us.
Love of God flowing inside of you will help you endure
1 Corinthians 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
I believe God has put that seed of greatness inside of each one of us but its satan who tries to belittle us and not allow us to be like Christ and love like Christ.
WHO DESERVES TO BE FORGIVEN?
James 2:10 says - For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it
So we see that we all have sinned in some way or the other that’s why Jesus died for us and carried our sins on the cross and has forgiven us. We too shall forgive others the way Christ has forgiven us.
To forgive others doesn't mean they should deserve it.
“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you” Luke 6:27
Luke 17:3 -“If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says , 'I repent,' forgive him.
Mathew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
1 Peter 3:9 - Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
